FAQ
What is Recruitment?
Recruitment, also known as Rush, is an opportunity for you to learn more about what alpha Kappa Delta Phi is all about. Starting at the beginning of each semester and lasting 1-2 weeks, students can learn more about our sorority, and Greek life in general, through events and activities hosted by our sisters. These events are a great way to meet new people and make new friends, regardless of if you end up joining. They are also free of charge and non-binding. We welcome anyone who is interested and wants to come out to see what we're all about.
Do I have to be Asian to Join?
Absolutely not. As an organization that seeks to promote cultural awareness, we hold the concept of equality in the highest regard. alpha Kappa Delta Phi does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, age, national origin, or sexual orientation. We are an all-inclusive sorority. Any woman who shares similar interests and values is encouraged to join regardless of their own cultural identity. alpha Kappa Delta Phi is composed of diverse backgrounds and lifestyles of each individual sister, and each member adds her own unique experience and spirit to the sorority, which helps build the sisterhood we are so proud of.
